Creating a usable brand guidelines system

A consistent visual language for heritage, health, and community communications.

My role
Brand kit & guidelines designer
Project scope
Guidelines for an existing identity

The brief

Bring visual consistency to a nonprofit connecting heritage, DNA, health, and community across its communications.

My approach

Working with the existing logo, I developed a brand kit and guidelines covering logo variants, a five-color palette, typography, imagery, and a reusable motif library.

The outcome

A repeatable visual system for educational, event, and community messages, supported by campaign applications showing the direction in use.

My work covers the brand kit and guidelines. AfriGenetry Link’s original logo was an existing mark and is not claimed as my design.
